Elite Numbing Cream — Primary Pre-Procedure Anesthetic

Elite Numbing Cream is a 5% lidocaine topical anesthetic used in professional PMU and microblading settings to manage client sensation before the procedure begins. Applied to intact skin ahead of the first pass, it is the foundation of a two-application protocol — the step that cannot be skipped if you want the secondary gel to be effective.

At a glance

  • 5% lidocaine topical anesthetic
  • Primary application — used on intact skin before any needle contact
  • Suitable for brow, lip, and general PMU procedures
  • First step in a two-application protocol with the Elite Numbing Gel
  • Applied once per session, per the labeled directions — do not use more than once every 24 hours
  • Professional use only — not for retail or self-application

When and how to use it

The cream goes on before the session starts, while the skin is still intact. Apply a thick, even layer to the treatment area, cover with occlusive wrap (such as plastic wrap) to assist absorption, and leave in place for 20–60 minutes, per the product's labeled directions. Remove and wipe clean before beginning the procedure. This is a single application, not a repeated one — do not use more than once every 24 hours, and build the full dwell time into your appointment scheduling rather than compressing it under time pressure.

Why primary anesthetics matter

A primary cream works on intact skin. Once the skin barrier has been opened, the formulation is no longer the right tool — which is why the two-application protocol exists. Skipping the cream and relying on the gel alone means the client goes through the most sensitive part of the session, the first pass on unbroken skin, without effective preparation. The cream handles that stage; the gel handles the stage after.

Completing the protocol

For sensation management after the first pass, pair this cream with the Elite Numbing Gel — applied once, separately, on open skin after the skin barrier has been opened, following its own labeled directions.

Professional use only

For use by licensed PMU and microblading professionals only. Review client health history, including any known anesthetic sensitivities, before application. Not for retail sale or self-administered use.
