Elite Numbing Gel — Secondary In-Procedure Anesthetic

Elite Numbing Gel is a 5% lidocaine secondary topical anesthetic — used once, after the first needle pass, to manage client sensation once the treated skin is no longer intact. The gel formula is designed for application on open skin, where a primary cream is no longer the right tool.

At a glance

  • 5% lidocaine topical anesthetic
  • Secondary application — used on open skin, after the first pass
  • Applied once per session, per the labeled directions — do not use more than once every 24 hours
  • Suitable for brow, lip, and general PMU procedures
  • Professional use only — not for retail or self-application

When and how to use it

Once the first pass has opened the skin, apply a thick, even layer of gel to the treatment area, cover with occlusive wrap, and leave in place for 20–60 minutes, per the product's labeled directions. Do not use more than once every 24 hours. This is a single, defined application — not an on-demand touch-up — so build the timing into your session plan rather than reapplying as sensation returns.

Why secondary anesthetics are a separate category

The distinction between primary and secondary anesthetics is about the skin condition each is intended for, not just marketing terminology. A primary cream is applied to intact skin before the first pass. A secondary gel is applied once the skin barrier has already been opened. The two products address two different moments in the procedure — each used once, each within its own labeled limit — and neither replaces the other.

Completing the protocol

For a full two-application protocol, pair this gel with the Elite Numbing Cream: the cream applied once to intact skin before the session, the gel applied once to open skin after the first pass. Each product is used according to its own labeled directions — apply a thick layer, cover with occlusive wrap, remove after 20–60 minutes, and do not use more than once every 24 hours.

Professional use only

For use by licensed PMU and microblading professionals only. Review client health history — including any known lidocaine sensitivities — before any anesthetic application. Not for retail sale or self-administered use.
