A PMU machine is required and sold separately. Check that cartridge sizing matches your machine before use, and follow the instructions printed on the box.
How to get the best result
- Choose shading, not lining
A round shader feathers its edges. For a crisp line, use the [[0603RL]] liner instead.
- Keep the cartridge flat
All three fine needles must feather together. Tilt it and the shading goes uneven.
- Light hand, slow build
The fine gauge is for control. Layer soft passes rather than pressing for colour in one.
- Even stretch, overlapping passes
Uniform, blended shading depends on an even stretch and overlapping strokes with no banding.
- Feather the edges
Ease off pressure toward the perimeter so the colour fades into the skin instead of ending at a line.
