Pro technique

How to get the best result

  1. Map every stroke before you open the cartridge

A liner is unforgiving. Draw the full brow shape and each hairstroke on the skin first; the stroke you commit to is the one that heals.

  2. Hold it at 45 degrees, not upright

A round liner held vertical punches holes; at roughly 45 degrees it draws. Crisp strokes come from the angle, not from speed.

  3. Three-point stretch on every stroke

Anchor the skin in three directions. On loose skin a fine liner skips and the stroke heals as a dashed line.

  4. Lightest touch — the 0.20 mm gauge is delicate

Let the needle lay the stroke. Pressing a fine liner over-works thin skin and blurs the result. One pass, then read the skin.

  5. Wipe along the stroke, never across it

Wiping across a fresh hairstroke lifts pigment straight back out of the channel you just made.

FAQ

Questions artists ask us

What does 0603RL mean?
It is the part code. 06 is the needle gauge on the nano scale (0.20 mm), 03 is the number of needles, and RL stands for Round Liner. So a 0603RL is a three-needle round liner at 0.20 mm.
What is the difference between the 0603RL and the 1003RL?
Gauge. Both are three-needle liners; the 0603RL is finer at 0.20 mm and the 1003RL is heavier at 0.30 mm. Use the 0603RL for soft strokes on thin or mature skin, the 1003RL when the skin is resilient and needs more pigment.
Is the 0603RL good for beginners?
Yes. Three needles are forgiving — the cluster completes a stroke in one pass — and the fine gauge encourages a light hand. Practise on synthetic skin first.
Which cartridge is best for thin or mature skin?
A fine-gauge liner. The 0603RL at 0.20 mm, or the even finer 0403RL at 0.16 mm, deposit a lighter stroke that suits skin that scars easily or holds less pigment.
What is the difference between the 0603RL and the 0601RL?
Needle count at the same 0.20 mm gauge. The 0603RL groups three needles for a one-pass stroke; the 0601RL is a single needle for the very finest individual strokes.
Does it fit machines other than the Elite PMU Machine?
It is sold and supported for the Elite PMU Machine. Confirm fitment with your machine's maker before using it elsewhere, as grip and throw vary between systems.
How many cartridges will I use per treatment?
Usually one per client per session. Cartridges are single use and must never be reused. A set of 20 covers roughly twenty sessions.
Is it sterile, and how should I dispose of it?
Each cartridge is single use with a filtered back-flow membrane and arrives individually sealed. Discard it if the seal is damaged. Used cartridges go into an approved sharps container — in California, never into household waste.
