Why the seven-needle magnum

The seven-needle magnum is about covering ground while keeping the gradient soft. The wide curved row shades a whole brow body in fewer passes than the five-needle 0805U, and the curve still feathers the edges so the colour fades naturally instead of banding. It is the workhorse of powder and ombre brows — the cartridge most artists lay the main gradient with.

Drop to the 0805U for smaller areas and finer control of the transition. For structured shading with a defined edge, use a flat (1207F, 0807F); for shading tight round areas, a round shader (1003RS).

Working with it

A wide magnum is the ultimate blending tool but shows a heavy hand instantly. Work in soft, sweeping, overlapping passes and build the gradient in light layers — never force saturation in one. Keep the whole curved row in even contact, hold a steady stretch, and put more pressure in the brow body and less toward the tail so the ombre fades where it should.

Hygiene and disposal

Every cartridge is a single-use, individually sealed unit with a filtered back-flow membrane that keeps pigment and fluid out of the machine grip. Check the seal before you open it; if the blister is compromised, discard it. Dispose of used cartridges in a sharps container in line with your state's requirements — in California that means an approved sharps waste container, never household waste.
