0603RS Round Shader Cartridge – 3RS 0.20 mm (Set of 20)
The 0603RS is a three-needle round shader on a fine 0.20 mm taper. It feathers colour the way the heavier 1003RS does, but the finer gauge lays a softer, more delicate deposit — the shader to reach for on thin or mature skin and for the most subtle powder and ombre work.

Why a fine round shader
A round shader feathers its edges for soft, borderless colour. At 0.20 mm the 0603RS does that gently — it builds shading slowly and controllably, which is exactly what delicate skin needs. A finer shader is harder to over-saturate, so it heals softer and more even on skin that reacts or holds less pigment.
Choose the 0603RS for the most delicate powder brows, subtle ombre transitions and soft lip blush on fine skin. Step up to the 1003RS at 0.30 mm when the skin is resilient and you want to build colour faster.
Where the 0603RS sits in the range
All Elite cartridges share the same body and membrane; grouping and count set the job.
- Round shaders (RS) — 0603RS (0.20 mm, finer) and 1003RS (0.30 mm, heavier).
- Round liner (0603RL) — the tight-grouped sibling at the same 0.20 mm gauge, for crisp hairstrokes.
- Curved magnums (0805U, 0807U) — for wider continuous gradients over larger areas.
Move to the 1003RS for faster coverage on resilient skin, or to a curved magnum when you want to sweep a soft gradient across a whole brow rather than shade in a round footprint.
Working with it
Work in soft overlapping passes with a light hand — the fine gauge is made for slow, controlled build-up, so let the colour layer rather than forcing it. Keep the cartridge flat so all three needles feather evenly, hold an even stretch, and taper pressure toward the edges for a seamless fade.
Hygiene and disposal
Every cartridge is a single-use, individually sealed unit with a filtered back-flow membrane that keeps pigment and fluid out of the machine grip. Check the seal before you open it; if the blister is compromised, discard it. Dispose of used cartridges in a sharps container in line with your state's requirements — in California that means an approved sharps waste container, never household waste.
Who this is for
The 0603RS is professional equipment for licensed permanent makeup artists and tattoo practitioners. It is not a consumer product and is not intended for use at home or by anyone without training in skin, sanitation and bloodborne pathogens.
