Mauve – PMU Lip Blush Pigment

Mauve is a warm mauve lip pigment from the Elite × Perma Blend range — a medium-value nude with a pink base and warm undertone. It is the signature "your lips but better" shade: just enough pink to add definition and color clarity, warm enough to look natural rather than cosmetic, and light enough to build from translucent blush to fuller coverage without losing its essential warmth.

At a glance

  • Color / mass tone — warm medium mauve-nude
  • Family — mauve / warm pink-nude
  • Depth — medium value
  • Use — lip blush & full lip color
  • Formulation — vegan; Elite × Perma Blend

How Mauve heals

Warm-toned pigments read true on warm and neutral skin. On cooler clients, the warm base may pull slightly pinker at heal — test with a diluted pass and assess before committing to full saturation. On lips with blue or cool natural pigmentation, neutralize first so the mauve heals as a clean, warm nude-pink rather than a muddy or ashy result. The medium value means healing lightness is predictable when you build in controlled layers.

Where it sits in the range

Mauve is the warm-pink, wearable center of the lip pigment range. It is the versatile staple shade — naturally flattering across a wide range of skin tones without requiring specific corrective preparation in most standard clients. For deeper mauve tones, move to berry or plum shades; for lighter warmth, see the nude family. See all PMU pigments for brow and corrector options.

Working with it

Shake well before use. Thin only with Perma Blend Thinning or Shading Solution — never water. Neutralize if indicated, patch test, and build in light layers — the warm base flatters most clients when kept translucent at the first session and deepened at the touch-up if more coverage is desired. Document all applications for touch-up repeatability.

Who this is for

Mauve is professional permanent makeup pigment for licensed PMU artists. It is not a consumer product and requires training in lip color theory, skin and sanitation to use safely.
