How Pillow Talk heals

Cool-toned pigments tend to hold their tone well but can deepen at heal on clients with naturally very pigmented lips. Read the natural lip tone before committing to full saturation — on darker lip tissue, the cool base may intensify the depth. Warm or highly pigmented lips should be neutralized first so Pillow Talk heals as a clean plum-pink rather than a muddy or unreadable result.

Working with it

Shake well before use. Thin only with Perma Blend Thinning or Shading Solution — never water. Patch test, neutralize if indicated, and build in light layers — medium opacity means the depth builds gradually, which is an advantage for managing final saturation. Document the build sequence at the first session so the touch-up is precisely repeatable.
