How Nutmeg heals

Nutmeg's orange base tends to deepen and settle at heal, so build carefully in the first session. On very fair or cool lips, the orange undertone can read warmer than expected — a corrector session may be advisable if the client has naturally cool or very pigmented lip tissue. On olive or warm-undertone skin, it heals as a natural, rich nude that flatters without looking saturated.

Working with it

Shake well before use. Thin only with Perma Blend Thinning or Shading Solution — never water. Neutralize the lips ahead of any dark nude application if the client has highly pigmented tissue. High opacity means this shade builds to full saturation faster than it looks; keep the first session light and assess at the touch-up before adding density. Record custom mixes for consistency at follow-up.
