How to get the best result
- Lay the main gradient with it
The seven-needle magnum covers the brow body fast. Use it for the bulk of the ombre, then refine with a smaller cartridge.
- Soft, sweeping, overlapping passes
Move in smooth overlapping sweeps and let the curved row feather the edges. This is a blending tool, not a lining one.
- Build in light layers
A wide magnum forced in one pass heals blotchy and loses the fade. Layer soft passes for a smooth gradient.
- Keep the whole row in even contact
All seven needles must sweep together. Uneven contact streaks across a wide band.
- Weight the pressure toward the body
More pressure in the brow body, less toward the tail — that gradient of pressure is what makes the ombre fade.
