How to get the best result

  1. Decide line or shade first

    A 0605RL lays a soft dense line or a pixel fill. Set your angle and speed for the one you want before you start.

  2. Keep the cluster flat

    All five fine needles must seat together. Tilt it and the outer needles skip, leaving a patchy result.

  3. Light hand, build in layers

    The fine gauge is made for control. Layer soft passes rather than forcing saturation in one heavy pass.

  4. Even, firm stretch across the area

    Uniform shading depends on uniform stretch. Keep the skin taut and flat under every pass.

  5. Wipe along the work, never across

    Wiping across fresh shading lifts pigment unevenly and leaves gaps once it heals.

Questions artists ask us

What does 0605RL mean?
It is the part code. 06 is the needle gauge on the nano scale (0.20 mm), 05 is the number of needles, and RL stands for Round Liner. So a 0605RL is a five-needle round liner at 0.20 mm.
What is the 0605RL best for?
Fine pixel shading, soft dense lines, microshading and delicate lip blush. Five fine needles give coverage with a soft, controlled deposit.
What is the difference between the 0605RL and the 1005RL?
Gauge. Both are five-needle round liners; the 0605RL is finer at 0.20 mm and the 1005RL is heavier at 0.30 mm. Use the 0605RL for delicate, controlled shading, the 1005RL for faster, denser coverage.
Can I do powder brows with a 0605RL?
Yes — it is well suited to fine pixel and microshading. For a softer continuous ombre gradient, many artists finish with a curved magnum such as the 0805U or 0807U.
Can I do hairstrokes with a 0605RL?
No. Five needles are too wide to read as one hair. Use a fine 1RL or 3RL like the 0601RL or 0603RL for hairstrokes.
Does it fit machines other than the Elite PMU Machine?
It is sold and supported for the Elite PMU Machine. Confirm fitment with your machine's maker before using it elsewhere.
How many cartridges will I use per treatment?
Usually one per client per session — single use, never reused. A set of 20 covers roughly twenty sessions.
Is it sterile, and how should I dispose of it?
Each cartridge is single use with a filtered back-flow membrane and arrives individually sealed. Discard it if the seal is damaged. Used cartridges go into an approved sharps container — in California, never into household waste.
